RedSea Fish app

Salt Water Fish app
As part of my summer internship at the project company 'Zemingo', I have been assigned a project on behalf of Red Sea company (which manufactures aquarium systems for Red Sea fish species, as well as different types of corals).

Audience (Reef Builders)
-
Specialists in growing saltwater aquarium fish
-
Men and women, ages 30-40
-
Community for whom the hobby of raising fish is the most important
-
They invest their best money in growing and maintaining their aquarium.

Challenge
-
”There is a very big challenge to keep the aquarium and get the most out of it.” ”The greater the risk (challenge) = the greater the reward..”
” effort = satisfying”
-
In the experiential and design aspect: creating new style of operating aquarium management and presenting the parameters by creating a sense of value, care and luxury.

How it helps the user?
-
Using unique design solutions and detailization of navigation buttons to enable a pleasant, rewarding and enriching experience for the user.
-
Data design that allows tracking of expenses, optimal parameter management.
-
Guidance in building the right infrastructure for growing fish according to the varieties and types of aquariums.

Preparing the tank
-
Planning and preparing the parameters intended for the construction of the tank.
-
Planning a recommended combination of fish species.
-
Monitoring of all aquariums and real-time data
-
Control page and parameter management
-
Planning all expenses

Coral color is a tone of real balance
For the neurological, Coral color is a tone of real balance. During the research I conducted a comprehensive examination on the subjects of science, ocean, salt water, fish species and luxury products. I was inspired by the elements of the aquarium water test tool, reefs and coral species, and chose a palette with therapeutic properties.

Visual magic of a refractometer
I researched measuring tools and parameters relating to the quality of the water and the quality of the living conditions in the aquarium.

SaltFish take benefits from the right light
Fish which take benefits from the right light, because it enriches their color are e.g. Betta Splendends or Angelfish.
I chose a display that refers to lighting conditions during day and night treatment and optimal visibility for the salt lamp which is a tool for changing parameters.

Salt water elements
In the design process I examined the elements of water and the molecular structures of the salt crystals as well as other elements in the sea.

Salt structure
The choice of salt structures reflects the health benefits for both the fish and the aquarium caretaker. That is, the atmosphere is not only technical, but has an element of dedication and relaxation in handling the fish. Effort = satisfaction.

Choosing a Tank
On this page, the user has to fill in essential details for the aquarium, which includes fish and coral species and the compatibility of the different species.

Species&
living conditions
The application includes pages of information and content about types of saltwater and coral fish.

Conclusions
-
Exotic Reef: There is a very big challenge to keep the aquarium and get the most out of it.”(Reef Therapy community podcast).
-
The environment in the interface should be suitable for professional reef-builders and maintain a sense of luxury.
-
The colors and the layout maintain a sense of calm, which is important to the process, but its also important to give presence for immediate and clear operation.
-
Data visualization: the visual elements can be based on the world of chemistry and science and not necessarily on linear data presentation.
