Project:
Writing, Printing and Book Design.
Book Subject:
The book explores the effect of The Space Age on design in five chapters: Industrial Design, Architecture, Fashion Design, Graphic Design and The Space Age Today.
Concept:
The influence of space objects on design in general and design systems in particular, such as iconization and typography (expressed through such styling devices as hard fabric cover, metallic style, Sun-serif fonts, etc.)
Challenge:
Working on the project entailed a variety of tasks (such as designing the book cover and layout, editing, translating, and conveying the content according to the chronological order of design evolution from the 1960s to the present). It also required a combination of different types of printing (fabric prints, embossing, etc.)
